A pre-filled syringe assembly machine is an automated assembly machine specially designed for pre-filled syringes (PFS). It is mainly used for the automatic feeding, precision assembly, and discharge collection of key components, including pre-filled syringe barrels, rubber stoppers, and plungers. It is suitable for 3ml, 5ml, and 10 ml Luer-lock pre-filled syringes.
The syringe barrels, rubber stoppers, and plungers are automatically sorted by their respective vibrating bowls and then transferred into the assembly rotary table. The machine sequentially completes syringe barrel positioning, precise rubber stopper insertion, and plunger thread screwing assembly. The entire process is fully automated without manual intervention.
The machine adopts a Mitsubishi inverter combined with a PLC programmable controller for coordinated drive control. Multiple photoelectric sensors are used to monitor the material status and operating sequence of each station in real time, achieving automatic shutdown when materials are unavailable and automatic restart after material replenishment. This ensures continuous and stable operation, with an assembly speed of up to 200–240 syringes per minute (depending on specifications).
The components directly contacting the syringes are made of SUS316L medical-grade stainless steel, featuring excellent corrosion resistance and meeting biocompatibility requirements. The equipment enclosure adopts a combination of SUS304 stainless steel and 6061 anodized aluminum alloy, while the internal conveyor belt uses FDA-certified food-grade materials. The entire machine is treated with anti-corrosion processing, and all welding joints and connections are smooth and flat, preventing contamination of products and cleanroom environments.
The entire machine is designed according to the special process requirements of sterile cleanrooms. It features a compact structure and attractive appearance, and can operate continuously for 24 hours under normal production conditions. The precision gear transmission system ensures stable operation with low noise. The operation interface is simple, and parameter settings are convenient.
Equipped with a safety protective cover, the machine activates an automatic stop protection function immediately when the cover is opened, effectively preventing injuries caused by improper operation and ensuring safe maintenance procedures.
